Let’s start off this essay with the classic quote, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” The members of the Carolina community, students and staff, could learn a thing or two from my stories and actions, not my appearance. Based on my appearance, I radiate a sarcastic, apathetic, typical athlete vibe; unbeknownst to many, that is not an accurate representation of myself. I’m going to be blatant, inside and outside the classroom, I am a natural leader. Cocky? Yes, but there is no need for modesty while trying to be accepted by the school of my dreams. Inside the classroom, professors and peers could learn about how a great work ethic and participation is all I need to succeed.
