Returning antiquities for it could be very difficult, where would one belong to a city, county or museums. Who may or may not have the part or the piece? There are many antiquities that were stolen after it was given back to the native country. Moreover, some museums made it private so that the public cannot see them, then they lost it’s funding and the museums can no longer be supported and keep the antiquities safe from looter.
