The value of sports in today society changed the world we living in; nowadays, sports develop a spirit of healthy competition along with the competitive instinct of man and women. Sports have become a wide standpoint for competitive matches up and tournament, when it comes to contest that is held up to put athletic out of them confer zone to test their skill. It has begun from the prohibiting of blacks in baseball, to female athletes in amateur and professional sports. Trolan who has recently been rising in women 's sports coverage says, “it has happened at the level where those who conform to the traditional values of being a woman are receiving greater benefits that those who do not conform to societal norms” (Trolan, 2013). Therefore, female who breaks up traditional gender roles are not enclosed as much by the media as those who imitate in their gender roles. In fact, study has shown that the under pictures and the equal opportunity of female athletes are still manifest where a reporter and sports media continues to highlight and reproduce hegemonic masculinity within sports. Sport is a fundamental aspect of life, and is significant matter in childhood, adolescence and youth. But education and mass media are powerful representatives of socialization and play dominant roles in the structure of masculinity and femininity. However, she provides some good examples of women 's sport at the professional degree like basketball and soccer. Both of these sports are well known in the United States and enjoy with some massive participation, but the main struggle in that circumstance is gender effect. From what I know and understand sports are fun no matter what gender playing it, that why I enjoy watching any sport that is competitive. In contrast, for most female athletes, a primary consumer of influence is the salary because women athletes need the media to pay more attention and stop being unregretful when it comes down to satisfying their earning potential. In fact, some coaches described that woman who played sport are not feminine and not attracted to man 's attention, for example, Trolan states that “If they want to be recognized, they have to show their femininity which is something they do not always showed when play sports” (2013).
