She thought her husband severe behaviors would change but, as time progresses he becomes more abusive and she had multiple miscarriages. Her husband action causes her to live in fear. Moreover, she had a choice to leave with Laila to Pakistan, but she decides herself for a life of sorrow, after the murder of her husband. She murdered her husband in order to save a life of Laila and took full blame for her action. Although, she got executed, she gave a new life of independence to Laila and her children. Similarly, Laila’s life at the beginning was encouraging because her father wanted her to get education first. But after the death of her two older brothers and her parents, she married Rasheed, because she was pregnant at time. She was imprison in her home and there was not much escape or hope. She goes on to marry Tariq. Concluding, both women showed the courage and risen high what society expected them to be. Mariam
