This article states that a reason why gender pay gap inequalities continues is that both men and women believe that women’s lower wages is fair. Then, the article aims to understand why would women acknowledge lower pay for women for being reasonable. Women usually compares themselves to other women occupying a less advantage position, and consequently they do not see the the unfairness between women and men wage; thus, they expect to receive less than men. When comparing themselves, women consider their difference in ability, what each one might earn and the position of this person in the society. Furthermore, the society observe men as most capable to occupy the best and highest positions.
