There is evidence from various UN organizations that suggest that, “...the quality of education – as measured by test scores – has an influence upon the speed with which societies can become richer and the extent to which individuals can improve their own productivity and incomes” (UNESCO, 2005). Education is not only necessary foundation for both men and women, but it is also a step to other objectives including poverty. “Providing girls with an education helps break the cycle of poverty: educated women are less likely to marry early and against their will; less likely to die in childbirth; more likely to have healthy babies; and are more likely to send their children to school” (Unicef). A ripple effect providing equal opportunity in education will be created, “When all children have access to a quality education rooted in human rights and gender equality” (Unicef). Therfore, providing equal education for both boys and girls will help a society more than hurting
