Surprisingly, most Americans are unaware or uninterested around the issue of unequal pay gap between men and women, and consequently this leads to inequality towards women in the workplace. In the article, Clinton vs. Trump: Equal Pay for Equal Work, Hilary Clinton argues that the issue of the gender pay gap is a major problem in this country and she plans on tackling these problems surrounding the pay gap that affects these women. The views of Clinton’s unequal pay gap display other wide dimensions relating to: women’s equality right in our society and how the pay gap not only targets certain women but women who are mothers, and women of color. The controversial issue of this is to enforce and fight inequality that women have been facing in the workplace and solve the issue of unequal pay between both genders. The gender pay gap negatively impacts an individual and some elements that play a major role in this issue are: work experience, independent skills, specific length of time at a company, and the level of education the person has obtained. Being able to look at different genders with the same title and salaries is unclear characteristics of the pay gap. Many other factors could be placed, but how can we be able to find the solution to the question? There seems to be no correct answer to this problem.
