In most states throughout our country, millennial women are more likely than millennial men to have a college degree. Currently young women are more likely than young men to get paid less for doing the same job. Also, these same men have a much easier access to top executive jobs. These same women have higher poverty rates and lower earnings than men. (“10 Findings about Women in the Workplace” para. 6) Research indicates that employed “women still make just 78 cents for every dollar earned by men.
