A person’s education can also be one things that prevents a person from gaining a federal law enforcement career or can potentially advance them forward. Almost all agencies at the federal level require a bachelor’s degree. In today’s time, many suggest even furthering that and getting a master’s degree because of the very high level of competition there is and it can only help separate you from the crowd (Walter, 2008). Transsexuals are becoming more and more prominent in today’s time. An issue with that is how that would change the work environment with that kind of distractions going on. A simple example would be if a person is not comfortable with environment, he or she could possibly do something immorally because of that plus the stress of everyday job life and personal life all in one (Barret et al., 2014). That could potential be a reason a transgender does get the job. One person may see it as discrimination while others view as a way to protect the people who are already working there.
Where there is corruption, racism will always be something to deal with whether if you tell someone is using racism or not.
