Psychological androgyny is where man or woman may have both feminine and masculine characteristics. Androgynies individuals can interact with wide range of different opportunities. Gender neutral parents do not force androgyny upon their children. Another myth, many people think that gender neutrality will make your child gay. Gender neutrality doesn’t influence a child to be lesbian or gay; the parents are not able to choose their sexual orientation (Stannard-Lucus). Many people wonder does gender neutral parenting affect a child socially. It does it many ways such as when a child goes to daycare or school, the child may be teased. A parent can’t avoid gender stereotypes into a child 's life there will be other people from the outside that will. Children who can choose between boy and girl toys can widen their interests. Parent also should know that you can 't force your child to gender neutral for example if your daughter likes Barbie dolls, that 's fine. If you son like trucks and action figure it 's also fine too. In the future, there 's no way to avoid gender so it 's best to teach the child while they are young as when they get older they know who they want to be. It allows children to develop in a false society.” A lot of people question if gender neutralism affects a child sexuality. The question to people answer is no, most children when they become teenagers they are heterosexual. Dr. Axelad stated he approves that parents shouldn’t care what other think about their decisions
