Although many understand and acknowledge the presence of a gender income gap in certain professions, there are many skeptics of this phenomenon. Even though the gap in the gender’s wages has been decreasing, it is till vital to display that there is a gap and to identify the reasonings. Dedobbeleer, Contandriopoulos, and Desjardins (1995) present the income gap between male and female physicians when they utilized data from computerized files of the Quebec Corporation from the years 1978 and 1988. Their research consisted of an assumed, as it was not overtly mentioned, survey of 20,000 physicians that inquired about the physicians’ gender, age, specialty, practice location, number of hours per week with a patient and other professional activities,
