Gender expression is the way a person communicates their gender identity to others through physical appeals. Summary of example: Coy Mathis is a 6 year old transgender girl that was born a boy. Since Coy was born a boy the school district wants her to use the boys bathroom, anything but the girls bathroom. The young transgender girl just wanted to wear the cloths she was so passionate about and show the world who she truly was.
