Gender discrimination and gender inequality are two issues faced by societies in the past and these problems are still present in the 21st century. According to the World Health Organization, gender discrimination can be define as “any distinction, exclusion, or restriction made on the basis of socially constructed gender roles and norms that prevents a person from enjoying full human rights”.
