Various conditions like gender roles and sex comes into play and are in sync with gender. A meaningful part is played by these conditions when referring to the various social issues experienced by men and women. The biological dissimilarities of male and female are contrived by sex. According to Henslin, gender is the “socially learned behaviour which is linked with the sexes and this develops gender roles”. Furthermore, gender roles as stated by dictionary.com are “a set of behaviours that indicates one's gender or the image projectedby a person that identifies their femaleness or maleness”.However, most cases of gender inequality are geared towards females.

A very popular cause of gender inequality is the fact that we live in a society which is driven primarily by patriarchy.
