Whose Lady Macbeth to tell Macbeth to be more manly? Macbeth is the one killing people and she is the one giving commands. When did a society like this come into the world? Since the world first started it has been the man with the upper hand. The man is the one of takes care of business. “Its the man who is the leader of the family.” “A true man respects his wife and family, but he must get respect back.” An attribute that is stereotypical with men is respect.
There’s a common thought that its normally the women in the family who stay home and take care of the kids, cook the meals, and clean the houses. The man is the one who is supposed to be out in the …show more content…
When other men see this, they see the man as more powerful and think more highly of him. Therefore, the more girls a guy can get with, the more respect he gets as time goes on. I really do get where society is coming from. Traditionally it has been the man with more power. I really think this is wrong though. Who cares if someone is taller than you. You should not be with someone based off of their height. You should be with someone because you love them and enjoy their presence. I have never seen a guy in my life dating a girl taller than him though. This is simply because all the guys would lose respect for him, and maybe he would even lose respect for himself. Girls traditionally go after the taller men. “They want to feel protected by a superior half.” Dating someone smaller than them can take this away. I think it’s wrong but this is how society views
