The very first assumption about new culture in my mind was that it takes years to adapt new culture and difficult to understand culture, to learn appropriate ways of behaving, a Diverse Learning Environment and communicating in Canadian culture in general. But that was not true for long time. When I came to Canada and started my college, all tutors and other faculty members play a very important role in helping us to acquire this knowledge very easily and in few months. Multicultural education enables me to learn the complexities of multiculturalism in Canada. It was a good and easy experience for me as my school teachers help us using a critical strategy. This strategy is that educators must try to step outside of their cultural comfort zone and comprehend the nature and origin of cultural differences. It is very important to realize the beliefs and values of other person to make aware him/her of anything new. This gives an insight to educators that how much time they will take and level of interest can be measured easily.
