Rhetorical Inspection of Kimmel’s article “Gender, Class, and Terrorism”
There have been various demonstrations of terrorism around the globe and we generally appear to point the finger at it on religion, by the by have we ever inquired as to whether these men were associated in any capacity and what else could have activated them to submit these monstrous demonstrations? In Michael S. Kimmel's article, "Gender, Class, and Terrorism" which showed up in the 6th release of Men's lives (2004), he thinks about a couple understood terrorists and calls attention to likenesses in gender, and socioeconomic status. Kimmel is a universally known professor of sociology who has directed research on men and masculinity and is a spokesperson for the National Organization for Men against Sexism. There is a proper sequence in delivery of his different arguments so that is why audience of this article become attached and attracted to each argument one by one. In this way, Kimmel has involved his audience in a perfect way to defend his arguments. There is use of easy and simple words so the article is easy to understand for various type of audience. Another thing which is making his article good is the title of the article. The article “Gender, Class and Terrorism” is showing itself that the article is about class, terrorism and gender.
