There are many points which one could speak on when referring to the topic of gender equality, and it is know that how you look at gender equality is based in the younger stages of your life such as when you are at school because this is when most of your opinions are made and where your view point on life is set therefore how one grows up and is taught to think is determined by their child hood.

The literacy rates of children in schools in South Africa alone has improved greatly over the years but there have always been more boys than girls in the classroom which is confusing as there are no laws against girls attending schools. Throughout the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa, around 17 million girls never gained any access to any schooling where as 11 million boys never gained this access, which shows that more boys have access to education than girls.
How to prevent gender issues in the school environment before students reach the working world
Students should be taught that they are all equal and that they should treat one another fairly and not based on their genders. The teachers and adults of the school should set and example for the students to follow otherwise the students will not know what they are doing wrong. Parents should be invited in to the schools and advised on how they can teach their children about gender equality and the children are not better then one another because they are of different
