Liora K through her project The Feminist Photos is an example of modern feminist photographers with the aiming of advancing equality of women by photographing feminists in all fifty states. She also focuses on the lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, and queer members of the society to augmenting the equality access of these groups and women in the society. Sarah Maple is another modern feminist photographer with a view of exploring the life of a young Muslim woman in the 21st century through photography in a brave, bold, and satiric manner. She has devoted her skills to promoting equality for women and especially women Muslims and decrying inequality and injustice perpetrated on women in the 21st century. Tomoko Sawada explores sexuality, individuality, stereotypes, and identity through different characters and contextualization of her images exploring the status and place of women in contemporary Japanese society. These photographers are mainly a representation of the lives of the photographers growing up and living in surroundings faced by gender and racial differences as evident by Tracey Moffatt, Mae Weems, and Clarissa Sligh. They were faced with racial and gender inequality, and they turned to photography to push the feminist gender and equality in general. Lesbianism and other minority groups in the society are other issues dealt with by modern feminist photographers with a view of accessing equality for all despite their sexual orientation and other aspects.
