No one can deny that the economy of the twenty-first century is fueled by intellectual capital. In addition, the idea of the most critical assets of a corporation, which are buildings and equipment, is already disappeared. The operating engine and fundamental basis of the global economy these days are only ideas. Therefore, the most significant lesson behind this contemporary economy for leaders is “power follows ideas, not position”.

Integrity is the most significant element in a leader characteristic that must be demonstrated over and over. Indeed, many leaders forgot that they were under scrutiny and could be called to account at any time. Also, they forgot that legal things do not usually mean they are correct as well

Not long ago, Sidney sent a message to the stakeholders of the company in its quarterly report when each day seemed to have a new revelation. Sidney said that the company did not deal with its independent board members and tell them its mechanism to ensure the integrity of the board and the organization itself. Sidney assured that the stakeholders he would know if something were missed. The reason for that is Sidney is fully engaged in that company. Actually, getting our problems solved by one person is not affective any more. The reason for this belief is the obstacles that we encounter these days appear fast and so complicated. Thus, we need to be grouped with talented colleagues to absorb and overcome the issues we have. Leading a great group requires certain aspects to be in the leader. The leader must acquire vision, the ability to gather the others, and absolutely integrity. In addition, the leader should have coaching skills. By this, the leader is required to have an eye for talent, the ability to differentiate right options, the ability to facilitate communication and reduce defects, a sense of fairness, kind of reliability and integrity that generates trust between the group members.
