Many children dream of being a superhero and climbing walls, however this idea may seem too far fetched for any human to accomplish; or is it? The gecko gloves are an astounding new development in the technological field that allows humans to climb walls with ease. Most of the development is for the movies and the military, however some variations are being dispersed for public usage. These variations will contain many of the same aspects as the original, however, the variation will be adapted for the civilian population. These gloves weather or not people support them, are undeniably essential to the ever growing industry of technology and manufacturing.

The price is heavily priced on the frame of the device and not so much on the synthetic adhesive. The frame is necessary for most, if not all people because, “... before developing this material, researchers knew sticky gloves wouldn’t be good enough. One problem with the “Spider-Man” model of climbing walls is that most people have considerably more strength in their legs than their arms.” (Whitwam Ryan). This however makes replacements on the adhesive very cheap.
The design of the gecko gloves are quite sleek and very strong designs by using a metal frame. The strong frame also allows prolongs the use of the design and makes for a longer lasting product. The designs are also very comfy as stated on the Geek website “There’s a rigid platform for each foot to rest on, so the climber can shift their weight back and forth, repositioning one pad at a time, then stepping up onto the now higher platform”, this shows the extra precautions made to insure the consumer enjoys the product as well as enjoys using the …show more content…
The gecko gloves are designed for business purposes but are also adapted for more civilian uses. The business aspect is so profitable it’s countless applications are astronomical from NASA space programs, window cleaners, manufacturing, and so much more is astounding. The gloves can also be used for more recreational purposes such as rock climbing or even replace a ladder for climbing. The uses to the gloves are not limited unless the user limits his or her self. They may not entirely be designed recreational use, but can be for the
