Relating it back to suicide, gay youth have a higher chance of leaving their homes and are at risk of suicide. This group receives the most discrimination for being different. When they discover what they’re gay, it is a big surprise for a lot of people like, their family and friends. When someone does not receive the support they tend to think negative thoughts, either suicidal or thinking about leaving their homes because they are not being accepted by their loved one.
