Murder Is Morally Wrong Persuasive Speech

It’s actually pretty simple, if somebody doesn’t agree with gay people and them getting married, then they don’t have to involve themselves with anyone who’s gay. But, some people just don’t seem to want to leave people alone and since they think it is morally wrong, they will try to keep it banned. According to Matt Slick at CARM, “Murder is morally wrong, and when any moral law is broken we are all ultimately affected and we know that if such actions were to increase, society would be affected...no matter where you are. Am I comparing homosexual marriage to murder and saying they are related or somehow equal? Not at all. I 'm momentarily shifting the focus to something that we all agree is morally wrong in order to demonstrate that even …show more content…
“A June 2014 peer-reviewed University of Melbourne study showed that children raised by same-sex parents score about six percent higher than the general population on measures of general health and family cohesion” stated from ProCon Organization. But, even children that have heterosexual parents, don’t always have both of their parents in their lives. Not every child is going to have both a mother or father figure when they grow up. Sometimes there’s just a mother figure, and saying that there has to be a father in order for the child to grow up healthy, is kind of degrading to single moms. As long as the parents love the child and give them the best support, they will turn out like anybody else. “In the U.S., 397,122 children are living without permanent families in the foster care system. 101,666 of these children are eligible for adoption, but nearly 32% of these children will wait over three years in foster care before being adopted,” according to Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. Same-sex couples being able to adopt these children will help lower foster children and give them a home. These children will actually have a more open mind, and be able to see things on the other side. Some kids grow up in abusive homes, hopefully people would rather have a child grow up with Same-Sex parents than be abused. Children are just as likely to turn out however they do in …show more content…
According to The American Psychological Association “- about 40 to 50 percent of couples in the United States divorce”. Every marriage has the same chance of not working out if it’s not meant to be. Most people stay together and don’t get married for a long time, but once they marry someone it’s a bigger chance of them eventually separating. It’s easier to walk out of a relationship than it is a marriage. Marriages will end if they are bound to end, and some argue that gay couples don’t get married even when it becomes legal. It is always nice to have the option if one day they do want to get married. Heterosexual couples don’t always get married either, so it’s not really a valid reason for being against Same-Sex

Adoption implies an opportunity to be desired, adored, and appreciated despite the flaws you have, removing the misery of living alone and placing the blissful feelings of being surrounded by a family. Annually, thousands of children enter the foster care system and wait with anticipation for their chance of having a family again. According to UNICEF, the number of orphans globally in 2008 was approximated to be 132 million orphans. Hence for decreasing this enormous number, adoption should be encouraged and supported so orphans could find a better future and accumulate a better life. In other words, we should support different types of adoption like transracial, special needs children, and international adoption.…

A big thing is that the couple gets their marital benefits. When a couple gets married they get many great benefits that a single person wouldn’t get, so a homosexual would say this was fair to them. In a 2010 Australian study, the myth that children growing up in lgbt+ homes were more likely to have more mental issues than children with heterosexual parents, was proved wrong. They found that children of lgbt+ homes obtained a healthy and equal amount of self esteem and they spent the same amount of time with their families as children growing up to heterosexual parents. Children from lgbt+ homes are not corrupt, though they are seen as different from children with heterosexual parents which. They may be more prone to bullying due to what society thinks or children and parents who are heterosexual that show prejudice against these children and their families. That is the fault of societal norms, not lgbt+ parents.…

Those who are married don’t really see the impact that being married has on them. Gay people want this right because they wish to be able to share an unbreakable bond. Marriage can be viewed as a privilege to be happy with your loved one until death. If marriage is equal to gay couples then it would give them that right. Without being married, gay couples lack what all heterosexual couples receive when tying the knot, like benefits in the case of a spouse’s death.…

Destiny Quinonez English 102 October 28, 2016 Essay #4 There are millions of kids all over the world waiting to become part of a family and thousands of couples or families looking to adopt each year. The lack of acceptable straight couples, gay adoption can provide numerous kids with the loving home they need. Same sex couples or straight couples are a better alternative than the foster care system. So why not decrease the number of kids waiting to be apart of a family by allowing them to be raised by people who are making a big decision to cherish and love them through years that lie ahead of them? Adoption is the process of providing families with a child that can no longer be raised by their biological parents.…
