Granting legal marriage to gays and lesbians would affect the stability of families, the foundation of our society. It would affect families because it goes against the institute of marriage between men and women, people won’t be able to procreate, and the nation will find a decrease in the population. Gay marriage goes against the institute of marriage that you find in the Christian Bible. The Bible is so clear in its support of heterosexual marriage. In Genesis2:24 it says,” A man is to leave his family and cleave to his wife.” Therefore God himself brought Eve to Adam. God himself ordained that they would be together in holy matrimony.
