Gawain the knight who is known for fighting the green knight He was known best for fighting the green knight because he was killed by the green knight. The green knight beheaded him because he challenged him to a duel. Also he was famous for being King Arthur's nephew. This is the one of main reason Gawain was part of the round table.Gawain is also a doctor who knew how to work with herbs and spices to make you heal faster and become stronger. He was used to heal all of the people who got hurt when fighting a battle Gawain played a very big part in the round table and was used for many different things.
