1. How would you prioritize the six basic functions of schooling into a more modern and current rule list?
It is impossible to prioritize awful basic functions, because they are already prioritized to benefit important people. I think that is in fact the actual school system described in a very cynical.
2. How would you test some of Gatto's theories about educating if you were in a teacher's position?
I would try to make the students to use critical thinking, gave responsibilities, independence, and encourage them to explore and think outside the box.
3. What was the purpose of the author telling this story?
I think is to make us analyze how wrong the school system is, we know the actual system is outdated and does not work, but to realize
