For me personally, when I 'm reading any type of excerpt or article I like to connect with the story emotionally. Not saying that Morin did an terrible job, but when speaking on a touchy subject such as Conflicts between the rich and Poor, I feel that he could of had an better arrangement and style in his use of word choice. For example, the author stated, “A recent Gallup survey found that a smaller share of the public believes that income inequality is a problem “that needs to be fixed”. One way he could of rewritten that statement with effectively using pathos is by saying “Gallup survey finds that the hardship of income inequality is a problem that our society needs to fixed.
