However, Gatorades longevity alone didn’t do the trick; Kevin Durant and Dwayne Wade are two professional basketball players in the NBA that are looked up to by children and adults from ages about 4 and up. Since 2010 Kevin Durant has had an All-Star appearance all his years in his career so far and he won Season MVP in the year 2012, same year this commercial premiered (NBA15). Gatorade was born in the summer of 1965 at the University of Florida. It all started when the assistant coach asked the team physicians how the players could not be affected by heat or heat related illnesses. The researchers discovered that the Florida Gators players were not getting enough fluids and electrolytes, which were being lost through sweat, so they decided to make a beverage that would replace these key components. Once they made the concoction, the researchers called it “Gatorade.” The original Gatorade gives a unique formula of sodium, potassium, and essential carbohydrates to your muscles and mind; so that it will help you maintain your high level of performance when it matters most.…

Gatorade is well known for how it refuels and reenergizes athletes during their peak performance times. In order for athletes to accomplish those goals, Gatorade must contain key ingredients important for the body.
