Gator Town Marketing Plan

The goals for Gator Town are for more students, parents and staff to be aware of the Rainbow Tees and increase the sale by 5 percent by the end of May. This is easily achievable with the right amount of advertisements. In order to reach this goal, Gator Town needs to advertise the Rainbow Tees more often by including them in the weekly Gator Bites News, Later Gator Announcements and mentioning them on the morning Gator Eye News. As of now, when students, parents and staff enters the Gator Town, they will notice that the Rainbow Tees is being placed at the back of Gator Store. In order to make people notice the shirts, it will be a good idea to place the shirts in the front of the store where it would be more visible. By placing the shirts in …show more content…
This way, it will be easier to tell if the sales have significantly increased. Attainably, there are steps and plans that must be followed in order to achieve the goal. For example, the first plan is to include and mention the Rainbow Tees in weekly, daily emails such as the Later Gator Announcement. Increasing the sales of the Rainbow Tees is realistic and rewarding. Once students, parents, staff, etc understand what the story behind the Rainbow Tees is about, it will give them a better understanding on how important the Rainbow Tees mean to the community. Lastly, setting a firm date is important in achieving the goal. In order for the progress to stay on task, a firm date must be established with each plan. For example, there will need to be an exact date on when an Ad for the Rainbow Tees must be released. The next goal for Gator Town is to increase the sales per transaction by 10 percent for the rest of the remaining year. There have been many complaints from students that they are unable to purchase from Gator Town because Gator Town does not accept money from student's ID.
