Gatlinburg, Tennessee, located in the Great Smoky Mountains, is an ideal place for vacations. A small town, with around four thousand residents, Gatlinburg draws more than 11 million visitors a year. Some of the best things about Gatlinburg, Tennessee are the beautiful autumn sceneries, the delicious desserts to try, and the unlimited activities available.

One of the most astonishing experiences is standing at an overlook and seeing mountains glazed with fall colors. Gatlinburg is home to several public parks that offer hiking trails at no cost. One of the most popular parks to visit is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This park gives one a great opportunity to go on a hike and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The most beautiful waterfalls are found along the way, and one may get a chance to peek at bears, elk, or several species of bird, giving the best experience to see all the park has to offer. However, the best part about it is witnessing the breath-taking view once you reach the end of the trail.
