Gasoline Cars Vs Conventional Cars

Although gasoline cars are the pinnacle of reliable transportation, there is a new challenger rising ---- The electric cars. First of all electric cars are more environmentally friendly, they are cheaper and more efficient form of transportation, more reliable than conventional gasoline cars and they can be more powerful and fun due to how they are designed and their components. Let us address the elephant in the room first, the environmental benefits of electric cars and how they can dramatically reduce greenhouse gasses and air pollution not to mention noise levels. They might seem like science fiction right now but “Judging by the current pace of technology, practical electric cars may become a reality in the next 10 years”(Long 51). The emissions to run an electric car is very little compared to that of conventional gasoline and diesel vehicles. Some critics insist “Aren't electric cars simply moving emissions from the vehicle's tailpipe to the power plant smokestack?”(James 58).
