E-1 was dispatched to the listed location for a possible gas leak.
U/A FD initially made contact with LHPD units on scene.
LHPD told FD that they were informed that the wife of the homeowner attempted to use their oven last night and she could not get the stove top to create a flame, so they believe that the wife may have forgotten to turn off the stove top when she was finished. When the homeowner woke up this morning he noticed the strong smell and went over to the stove and shut it off.
FD was also informed that the home care takers opened all the doors in the home to try and air it out.
FD then investigated the stove area and gas lines around the home to ensure there were no other hazards or leaks. FD was unable to find
