Charles and Geneva (Garrett) Bennett will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on September 28th with their family.

The couple first met in September of 1955 and were married on September 28, 1957 by the late Rev. Joseph Bartley in Metcalfe County.

Charles is a retired farmer and a retired from SKF of Glasgow after 33 years. Geneva is a retiree of SEWS of Edmonton after 10 years, and Sorenson of Glasgow after 12 years.

Charles and Geneva have three children: Vernon (Brenda) Bennett of Edmonton, Darlene (Jeff) Wells of Glasgow, and Darrell Bennett of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Anthony (Ashleigh) Bennett of Edmonton, Melissa (Byron) Jones of Center, and Jamie (Austin) Griffiths of Glasgow.
