The smells of trash consist of rotten food piled up over time. I cannot even stand taking the trash from my kitchen trashcan to the big dumpster out in my driveway. Something about the smells that build up in a trash bag for a week or more just turns my stomach upside down. In addition to the smell, garbage truck drivers encounter soggy materials, which I cannot stand! The colors that combine and mix together which therefore causes leaks are usually a dark brown which consist of grease from meals. Having to lift that trashcan with all the smells and leaks from a family's leftover suppers and waste materials is beyond disgusting. My choice of career has nothing to do with garbage removal. I have a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals and dreams. What strengths I bring are that I am a self-motivator, a good listener, determined, and I have the ability see people beyond their appearance. Pursuing a career as a special education teacher will put all of my personality gifts to use. In addition, I have the understanding that failures are already in the past, and I look toward a brighter side of each situation.
