The Gap Year is the year after secondary education were the graduate takes time off do anything of their pleasing, either beneficial to their studies or just to have fun. I believe that the Gap Year should be used and practiced in America because many students have been in school for 13-14 years, counting Kindergarten or Preschool, and some of them are just sick of school and they want to go explore. Also some Graduating seniors want to know what it’s like do work at a non very good job to see of they want to stay there for the rest of their life or to get higher education and work at a better place with better pay or get an internship in a company. It would relieve many high school graduates because they don't need to worry about school or anything, they will be traveling around the world or they would be visiting family in a different state. Visiting a new Country could mean finding and becoming new friends with other people or even becoming associated with those people and start a new company with them. This can open your mind up and maybe if there is an opportunity to study abroad at the place you went to during the gap year and you will be familiar with the people from that place.
