Gang violence is a good top to research, the rise of gang violence in the prison system has cause great concern for DOC and inmates incarcerated. The research you would probably be able to find the most information on is prison recidivism. Researching to determine what is the possible cause of inmates reoffending could be due to the lack of programs provided to inmates to help with their transition into society. The correctional system has to make adjustment to help inmates from reoffending. Recidivism is a problem that can be researched and a lot of information is available for a researcher.
