I would chose to resist against the administrator because I wanna live in a world where there is freedom and equality. Even though many people faced penalties and consequences while using civil disobedience in the past, the outcome of it always have a big impact in the society, community, or even in school. Both Gandhi and Dr. King had to face months in jail for protesting, especially Gandhi. Gandhi was arrested more than ten times in both South Africa and in India. The reason why civil disobedience is a great method is because it involves a lot of getting into trouble and consequences, but at the end of it is success. During The Boston Tea Party, the British government responded harshly towards citizens of Massachusetts because they believed that they shouldn’t be taxed by the British parliament, but their own representatives, this caused the start of the resistance movement against the British. Others might also consider rioting as civil disobedience, but civil is protesting which involves non violence resistance. In the article “what’s wrong with civil disobedience?” Protestors from Philadelphia is being put to jail for protesting, and some are being held on with a huge bails. But, these protestors believe that they were being arrested for not what they did, but for what they might do, but simply, they were just peacefully protesting. Even though, this articles shows and states that civil disobedience causes jail time, it was effective in the past, and it’s still effective
