Many remember the traditional and classis game we used to play when we were all in Elementary School. Tag. Tag is the game to play when on reccess break and it is also game that is mostly displayed in movies that kids always play. From everyday children to teens, many know and love the classic game. Administors and officials might argue that the game is to violent for children and that there are too many safety hazards to be aware of when joining a game of tag with friends. Dr. Steele, the prinicpal of Sea View Elementary, stated, "There are too many injuries in the office because of the game Tag." Common injuries such as bruises and cuts have been reported from the office on numerous accounts, however there is one incident that seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back. The one particular accident that occured was when a group of students, to my understadning, were roughly playing tag. The group of friends got out of hand swiftly to the point it wasn't called Tag anymore, more like shove. One student was chasing others while the student was chasing his target, the target looked back for a mere fraction of a second. That fraction of a second was enough to collide with the tall, blue metal bars that surround the playground area. The student was unresponsive and teachers took effect immidetaly by calling the abluenace. In the end, the student was fine and no head trama occured. This game of Tag was suposed to be fun and an enjoyment to the students and teachers who get a quick break from their lessons, but instead it turned into a potential serious matter that might haunt some of them in their
