The target of the proposed sample was adults who work with and care for Indian children between the ages of 3 to 7 years. This population was targeted as these participants would likely have an intimate understanding of children that can inform the content development of Galli Galli Sim Sim. Additionally, this study also focused on individuals from lower income and rural/urban neighborhoods, as this is the population that producers of Galli Galli Sim Sim and the funders are trying to reach. Two different sampling approaches were used to recruit experts and parents. For experts, this study used a Snowball Sampling method given the challenges in finding willing expert participants who could afford the interview time (between 30 to 45 minutes).
