Galileo has made amazing discoveries in his life and some of it is still used today. He became a scholar, and went to school but he didn’t earn his degree. He became a lecturer. He was under house arrest for saying planets revolve around the sun and not the earth. He went blind a year later then died 4 years later still under house arrest.
Some of his major accomplishments and discoveries are the law of the pendulum and that the length of the string doesn’t affect the time it takes to get across. He also helped religion by solving how solar system works. Then he also discovered how the planets go around the sun. Finally he made the telescope beater by adding a case.
He left a lasting legacy, he inspired Evangelista Torricelli
