One of the many legendary dictators, Julius Caesar, had influenced other cultures and empires after his time, and today continues to be an important role model from history. He had grown up from a political family, being the basis for his political career as a young adult. However, with power comes risk. His violent end turns tragic in a matter of minutes. His history continues to influence the world today.

Julius Caesar, born on July 12, 100 BC in Subura, Rome, was born to the name Gaius Julius Caesar. He had begun his education at an early age with only the best teachings of reading and writing. He had learned several different languages at the time, showing his intelligence. This was needed for his later career

Caesar rejected this and fled Rome, not wanting this treatment. He later came back after Sulla’s death.

As a young man, Caesar distinguished himself in roman society. He could recite poems very well, and wrote poetry, becoming a favorite among the women of Rome. Along with poetry, he was also a great writer in general. His first wife was Cornelia, whom he married. She was the daughter of Lucius Cornelius Cinna. Because of that, Caesar was associated with the popular party in his early political career.

His political career started after Sulla’s death in 78 BC. This allowed for Caesar to come back to Rome and become part of the consul for ten years. Although he was not exiled from Rome from the beginning, he left the city to do his military service, the reason he had left. When he returned, he began his career as a politician, one step at a time.

After Caesar's first wife, Cornelia, died in 68 B.C., he married Pompeia, a granddaughter of Sulla. When the mysteries of the Bona Dea, over which she conducted, were violated, she was maligned by gossips, and Caesar then divorced her, telling the Senate that his wife must be above suspicion. His next marriage in 59 B.C. was to Calpurnia and was politically
