Gail Taylor, Director of Educational Services for WEDU PBS, serves as the key developer, coordinator and manager of education and outreach initiatives within the station’s 16-county viewing area of West Central Florida. A former classroom teacher she holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in educational psychology from Tennessee Technological University. Before joining the WEDU team, Gail held positions at the Florida Air Museum, Hillsborough Education Foundation and with the Tampa Tribune’s award-winning News In Education (NIE) program. She frequently offers conference presentations and training workshops for educators and families focused on incorporating PBS resources into PK-12 learning.
