6. How would you change the ending?

A. If I could change the ending I would explain what happened to all the characters after they defeated Gaea. I would also change how Leo died because it made sense but then he got healed by magic. I would make at least one character die or something because they all stayed alive and you can't have that happen or else you have too many characters. Another thing I would change would be how they defeated Gaea because it was not really that good. I would change how many characters are left in the end because there are nine main characters. I would also change how Octavian died because it was an accident. I would have made not monsters fight for a while instead of running away fast. Finally I would change how much important the Athena Parthenos was in the end.

8. Have you read any other books by this author? Were they comparable to your level of enjoyment to this one?

I have read many books by Rick Riordan. I have read the Percy Jackson series, the Red Pyramid series, and now the Heros of Olympus series. I really liked this book but it was not my favorite book of all time. My favorite book that he has wrote has got to be the first Percy Jackson book. The Blood of Olympus was very comparable in enjoyment with the other books he has wrote. It was comparable because all of his books have lots of action and adventure. I would recommend reading any of Rick Riordans books. All of his books are adventurous, action packed, and realistic! One last thing I would say was enjoyable about all his books are getting to know the

Judging by the covers and the synopses of the books, Jungle of Bones, The Beginning of Everything, and Gated, you wouldn’t think they would have anything in common. However, they do. The main characters in each book face and overcome very difficult conflicts that are very different at first, but then reveal that all relate to each other in one way or another. The first way these books are similar is that they all have to do with “survival”.…

“The love of my life” by Sheryl Strayed I would like to start the discussion with the introduction of the author, Sheryl Strayed. Sheryl was born in Pennsylvania in 1968, where she only spent first 5 years of her life, after that the family moved to Minnesota. This is where Sheryl got her education, got married, and resided; until her mother's death from lung cancer in 1991 turned her whole life upside down. This was a pivotal moment, when her life old shattered; so she had to burn all the bridges, and reinvent herself. This was Sheryl's moment of genesis.…

Daily Log: Monday: On Monday, Maggie was unable to come into the lab today as she was sick, so Cole continued to work on the research plan. He edited the methods section, adding paragraphs on RNA isolation and miRNA preparation for PCR. During our lab lunch meeting, Dr. Ericson and Cole discussed a study he found that looked at Bartonella in histiocytomas, skin tumors made of malignant dendritic cells. In this study, they used a confocal microscope and found Bartonella in histiocytomas of dogs infected with Bartonellosis; however, they were unable to conclude whether Bartonella caused histiocytomas.…

I first picked up Highly Illogical Behavior at the recommendation of Mrs. Bock. I had never read a book with a protagonist who had a mental illness that was present in the behavior and the overall plot proceedings throughout the novel. I usually tend to stay within the genres that I am familiar with - romance and realistic fiction. Most of the books that I read are about how a man and a woman fall in love in spite of emotional and physical strife. Highly Illogical Behavior, however, was about a man who had such severe social anxiety that he developed agoraphobia, thus rendering him incapable of leaving his house.…

I've read the Ender's Game series, from Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and the Children of the Mind. I've also read One Second After, Rendezvous with Rama, The Blood of Olympus, New Earth, Inferno, and Robinson Crusoe. Of the books that made the most impact, Speaker of the dead left the most dent because it talks more about how we must take care of each other than brandishing our accomplishments.…

The Hidden Oracle and The Flying Tigers are two books that I have enjoyed reading recently. The first book that engaged me is the Hidden Oracle, which is a fiction by Rick Riordan and is quite comparable to his other Greek mythology books. I found this book interesting because in the beginning, the god Apollo is changed from a god to a normal, mortal person. Despite wanting his powers back, Apollo is able to overcome the enemy and regain his confidence as well as getting over not having powers. At the end he really shows resilience and I thought that was neat to see the progression in him.…

Ten chapters in, ninety five pages out and Red Dragon, written by Thomas Harris, easily secures a place on the list of my favorite books. It paces itself well, allowing the narrative to provide answer in due time instead of Harris laying it all out right away. The characterization of the central characters my favorite aspect of the novel. They create a compelling read propelled in part by the failure of Will Graham as a conventional protagonist but also by the allure of two distinctly monsters each with their own agenda.…

I thoroughly enjoyed reading through all seven chapters of Philip Yancey’s book “The Bible Jesus Read.” It felt as though I was sitting across form the writer just soaking in all he had to say. After reading commentaries and Bible dictionaries, this book gave a fresh perspective on the Old Testament. Yancey was not interested in the nitty gritty details of the Old Testament like date and author of books, but rather focusing on the point and the big picture.…

When you talk about proportions we refer to the size relationship between and an object. one of the hardest things that most artists have to face is drawing in proportions when you have to have complete accuracy. It is vitally important in drawings whether your dealing with portraits, landscapes or even realistic drawings it trains the eye to see things as it is. In the process of setting up my blind contouring drawing I realized that it is more complex to focus on the object and have that image in your head without looking at the paper you cannot really tell whether you drawing is good or bad. I think that it is more about observation that helps you when you are a beginner.…
