Gabby Alonzo does not let anything come in her way. She made sure to do whatever she could to recover and get back to doing what she loves. Freshman Gabby Alonzo was enjoying her time playing for her tennis team at Hebron High School. During the time of winter, she was forced to drop out for a few weeks to undergo a surgery. Alonzo stayed in high hopes that she would be able to get back to her physical activities after she had her toe surgery. Spending a couple of weeks out from tennis during an important time during the year was not something she was prepared to. “I had to have a surgery on my toe last year, so I was out for a couple of weeks,” Alonzo said.
