I have GRIT! GRIT is the willingness to be unique and achieve what may seem impossible. GRIT is standing up for a cause although everyone else is sitting down, making a footprint everywhere you go and sharing your GRIT with others. Despite diversities I’ve always persevered because I know nothing will be handed to me. Completing my degree at UCF will feed my desire of GRIT. UCF is one of the most prestigious Universities in the Nation and houses one of the best programs for my major, Human Communication. It’s the school for me. Completing my degree at UCF means the best education from the top professors, in addition to the best student organizations. College is all about what you make it, as a dedicated and ambitious student I ensure to make it a meaningful experience.

I enjoy waking up and going to campus just for the atmosphere. The great professors, faculty and students also encourage me as well. I’ve learned at the colligate level that you’ll get far with determination. Entering Broward College, my advisor told me that my course work would take 2 years. I pushed myself and managed to finish a 2-year A.A degree in 1 year. I am honored to be apart of Broward’s Honors College, Dean’s List and National Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
During my time at Broward College, I achieved the position of Senator of Public Relations for Student Government. One of my passions is giving a voice to the students. With this position, I aided my peers to share their desires as a student body. I did everything in my power to ensure their needs were met. The determination to succeed I built at the community level will triple once I’m at UCF. My leadership skills won’t end because I’m transferring to UCF, in exchange it’ll grow. My goal is never to stay stagnant, I want to expand and get involved to enhance the UCF Community academically as well as
