GEOINT Support To BMC Case Study

Decent Essays
Roger, I agree that our GEOINT support (imagery replication) to BMC has ran its course. ISR-I support as augmentees to act as COCOM J2 only fills BMC staff vacancies. I believe acting as a ISR facilitator is an enhanced role that we can easily provide. This will help prove/solidify ISR-I importance by focusing on true ISR integration, coordination and synchronization throughout the entire process. BMC should look at filling J2 vacancies from tenant units (i.e. 1AD and/or subordinate brigades). The outcome would allow resident Soldiers to have an understanding of ISR process and products in an realistic environment. We should also coordinate/partner with 7th ASOS (ISRLO) to support this effort.
I believe John's efforts focuses on BMC's needs

Since the completion of Fort Belvoir Community Hospital on a 1.2 million square feet location in Virginia in 2011, the facility has been competing not only for the Department of Defense fund for Military Treatment Facility in the region but also for patronage of service members. Not only is it an exclusive treatment facility for service members as WRNMMC it also boasts of a 120 state-of-the-art inpatient rooms located in a newly completed seven-story tower (Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, 2016). In spite of the rivalry from its competitor, WRNMMC still maintains its advantage over its competitors as the preferred treatment facility for service members in the NCR. This is so because it is the only exclusive military treatment facility in the NCR that can cater for all their healthcare need whether it is routine or specialty care in one…

The 4th Armored Brigade Combat Team (4ABCT) proud tradition of excellence throughout its history took a turn for the worse with its recent deployment and redeployment issues from Afghanistan. An organizational change within 4ABCT is paramount in order to return to its storied heritage of excellence by being a contributing member of the division. In order to complete the change from its current state to a well-respected unit, I would execute a blended version of the seven-step vision process with John Kotter’s eight-stage model to create successful and lasting change. First, I would begin with conducting an initial assessment of the brigade prior to taking command, which is the first step in the seven-step vision process. From this initial…
