I am notifying you and GE Capital my intention of resigning from my position as Customer Focus Manager, effective August 2, 2015. My last day in the office will be July 11, 2015 and remainder of the month (July 13th to July 31) will be utilizing my vacation days.
Company’s announcement on April 10 directly impacted my decision to seek opportunity outside of GE Capital after 18 years of service. I am saddened by this unfortunate career change. I was fully committed and intended to stay with GE Capital until my retirement.
If I can assist with the transition, please let me know.

In the article General Electric Paid No Federal Taxes in 2010, states that Jeffery Immelt (CEO of General Electric (GE)) wants Obama to create more jobs for the United States. This is ironic because “more than half of GE’s workforce is now outside the United States”.
