Fy 19 Capital Budgeting Process

• Paula shared preliminary result FY17 budget. As a whole, the department ended the year over budget. Paula provided handouts and asked the leadership team to review where we ended the year and compare to what’s budgeted FY18. Paula noted that the FTE’s are over, but that it’s explainable due to the increase in volume and revenue. Paula indicated that radiology is in good shape going into FY18.

• Paula shared the capital quarterly report FY 18. She noted that the FY 19 capital process will being in January. Paula would like the leadership team to start thinking about capital needs FY19 in preparation for the capital budgeting process.
• Paula shared that the leadership raises will occur on November 24th. The raises will be effective back to September 25th. Paula shared that she had 3.8 percent to work with, which is in line with the rest of the organization. Paula asked if there was any feedback from the group or supervisors regard the leadership raises process.

Paula attended a meeting yesterday where they talked about a gap in IT and the need for a new VP position for oversight of the TSRB.
• Paula noted that Stefanie Gallant is new to IS and will be instrumental in assisting with situations like MOBIAS that Radiation Oncology has been experiencing. Paula noted that there is an upcoming meeting to introduce Stefanie Gallant to Matthew and Lori Ann.

• The leadership team discussed the purchase of equipment with IP addresses for capital. Brian Douglas suggested that the group come up with a process that the leadership team can review and discuss for potential roadblocks with the TSRB.

• Radiology is on the strategic plan to move to a network level in FY18. FY18 will be the focused on the planning process and creation of the structure for the
