Many students claim they are in prison when they attend school, it could just be that they would rather be home due to boredom, or maybe they’re hinting at something society is too blind to notice. Punishments within the prison and our education system are very alike except, they are named differently and executed on different levels of severity.

Different varieties of suspension will be provided for students, although the most often forms of suspension include students being dismissed from classes for a specific amount of time, this is similar to what felons refer to as “The Hole” or solitary confinement, where they 're sent to be locked away in their own cell, cutting off all human contact. Not only are warnings for misbehaving in school written down on the student 's record but so are attendance problems such as being late, absent or skipping classes, and in many cases, these are checked upon to decide whether the student is eligible to take part in certain activities or privileges.
The punishment for students who commit serious offenses can be expulsion or being switched to another school or sent to a military school, which is very similar to serious offenses committed in prison, where felons are transferred to a higher security facility or put in solitary
