At the frontline of patient care, the nursing field will grow in importance and necessity as we approach the future. As longevity increases and the incidence of chronic illness climbs, so will the demand for patient care throughout our healthcare system. Consequently, it is essential that the future nursing profession is made up of highly skilled, dedicated, and well-educated professionals. I believe that the MSN Entry into Nursing Practice program at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing will help me in my pursuit of becoming an excellent advanced practice nurse.
My goals as a part of the future nursing profession are to be an advocate for my patients, to provide exceptional individualized care, and to educate my patients on preventative measures
