Prominent Case Study Of The Funeral Industry

Methods:
The data was collected through the use of a general survey and precedent case studies of various buildings. These findings will help shape the elements within the final space. A general survey on-line that is made up of a combination of qualitative and quantitative questions that will allow for a general sense of how the lay people want and think about the proposed building and what may or may not be important to them within the space. The data will be collected from on-line and analysis from the gather information. The precedent case studies were sampled chosen by type and style of the facility. Within the sample, there are a combination of visitable sites and non-visitable sites as well as a variety of locations around the world to compare. The studies will be analysed by style, desired elements in the space, spatial requirements and functionality of the spaces within. The design style of the funeral industry is changing as the upcoming generation. The traditional style was fine for the previous generation by as the upcoming generation trend is more about experience rather than looking at the price of the product. Existing funeral houses in the area are traditional style transitioning into the modern style slowly. Most haven’t been updated fully in the modern style. Funeral homes still resemble a home like interior.
